Owner and founder of Brookfield Acupuncture, Ed Herrera, has been involved in both Eastern and Western Medicine for over 25 years. After trying many other methods to help him quit smoking, Ed turned to Eastern Medicine and acupuncture. It was after successfully quitting smoking, using these methods, that Ed became extremely interested.
In 2000 Ed began studying Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, earning a Master of Science Degree in April of 2004. He has also been designated a “Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology” by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and certified by the Council of Colleges for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) and is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Illinois. Today Ed is one of the most qualified and experienced acupuncturists in the western suburbs of Chicago.
