Eduardo Herrera MS, Dipl. L. Ac.
I became interested in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
after personally receiving treatment with a positive outcome back in 1995.
In 2000 I began studying Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Pacific
College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, earning a Master of Science Degree
in April of 2004. As a result, I have been designated a "Diplomate in
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology" by the National Certification Commission
for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and certified by the Council
of Colleges for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). I am a licensed
acupuncturist in the State of Illinois.
I am also a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner. I have worked in a
hospital setting for the past 15 years, dealing with a wide range of
Respiratory Diseases affecting adults, children and premature infants.
Having this exposure to Western Medicine gives me the ability to understand
and combine Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with patients receiving
standard medical care and produce more favorable results in the treatment of
complex medical conditions.
The
nature of my practice is to give the utmost in care and service to each
patient, striving to provide a blend of proven ancient practices with
cutting edge modern advancements.
